Disasters are messy.
Personal belongings everywhere. Stuff strewn to who knows where. Couches here, chair there. A bedroom or bedrooms are gone.
Life is out in the open for all to see. For all to bare what was and what is not now.
Furniture is missing and messy.
Pictures are gone or messy.
Life is now messy.
Marriage can be messy.
Marriage can be disastarous.
Marriage can have messy circumstances.
Marriage can be exhustively messy times.
Messy can be communication differences. Messy can be stress. Messy can be everything. Messy is in everyone’s life. Messy marriages. Messy lives. Messy can come in the form of affairs, deaths in the marriage.
Yet through this messyness God can take this messyness and bring everything around to His glory. Messy can somehow turn into a story of how God redeemed your marriage from the pit of disaster to such redeeming grace. He can take any of the messy circumstances and use them for his glory, and for each one of us to bring glory to His Name.
How often do we not realize that the disasters in life help us know that we are not alone. We have Jesus who walks along side us, through both the messy marriage circumstances and the disaster circumstances we face.
