The truth and Disaster suvivors have struggles like everyone else, and this includes accepting the truth that they no longer have a home. Truth that their normal routines have gone out the door. Truth that they no longer have a treasure. Truth can sometimes be hard to understand, and not always easy to handle. Yet there is a truth that is always there, and never changing, It is God‘s Word. He is the one who hasn’t changed or anything. It will be us who has changed. Sometimes the Change isn’t always easy but if we are God’s Children, it takes place over a period of time.
As the Truth we encounter through His Word enables us to shine brighter for him, and for His glory. Sometimes as a survivor, the truth that we are alive and well, we need to give Him the glory. Glory for being alive. Glory for giving us life. Glory for the testimony that He has given us. God’s Word will always point us back to him or a christian who is a light in their workplace. Being true light and shining Jesus to all the world will never be easy, but we need to take heart.
33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Jesus tell us that we will have trouble in this world, but we also need to take heart because He has overcome the world. He is the truth we all need to encounter whether we are survivors or not.
Jesus, answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:6
He is the truth. He is the life. He is the way.
Jesus is the complete udder truth when everything is all boiled down to it. He is the one true King. He is all in all. He will complete everyone once he comes again (those who are His and have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour).
No matter how hard the truth is in this world with natural disasters in this world, God’s Truth is the one that prevails, the one that we cling onto. It is everything to us. It is everything. No matter what the world throws at us, Jesus, The Word will always remain the Truth. It is what we cling to in times of disaster and spread to those who do not know Christ.
What truth do you need to cling to while going through this disaster?
What does Jesus want you to do?
How will you carry out His command for you?
Do You Believe that Jesus is the way the truth and the life?
