They have their own disaster relief teams! Samaritan’s purse sends out a semi that contains a command post plus all the tools every man could ever want to play with.

The Samaritan’s Purse Disaster relief is sent out to disaster areas. They help clean from the very beginning and getting work orders to go to certain homes to get done what they need to do. They are on the ground at least a day or two later getting to the disaster zone. They set up in local churches and help those i need of cleaning debris off of their home lots. Many times it is sorting through items other times it is truly salvaging. They come to help and to serve those who have been hit in the disaster zone. They serve just like Christ. They come to help those in need. Jesus came to help the sick, the needy and everyone inbetween. As the disaster slowly picks up with volunteers, in which many choose to volunteer through Samaritan’s Purse. They come in groups, and herds and everything imaginable.

There is so much that Samaritan’s Purse does for this nation. They also evangelize while out serving those who have been hit by the disaster. They want everyone to know that Christ has come to die for them and are wanting them to accept Jesus as their personal saviour and Lord.

There are volunteers who serve in the Kitchen for the workers who have just been out in Ground Zero helping those to clean up their homes. They cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. They help with Samaritan’s Purse, and yet they serve in a unique place. They may not be able to get out into the debris field but they can serve others by serving.
