5 Minute Fridays — Fall

5 Minute Friday

1. Write for 5 minutes flat – no editing, no over thinking, no backtracking.
2. Link back here and invite others to join in.
3. And then absolutely, no ifs, ands or buts about it, you need to visit the person who linked up before you & encourage them in their comments. Seriously. That is, like, the rule. And the fun. And the heart of this community..

OK, are you ready? Please give me your best five minutes on::

Fall is the time of the year when the beautiful colors come out into the trees. They pop red, yellows, and many other colors. Seemingly they are dying but yet this is a process. A process that ready’s them for the spring. For them to bloom so pretty in the spring. Thinking on this, the Christian walk is the exact same way, the thing is we only die to our selves so we can become more like our SAvour. He is the one we were meant for fellowship. This was all lost in the fall of man, when Adam sinned and brought death, to the human race. The only way we rectify this is to accept Christ into our lives and begin dying to ourselves.

How often do we as Christians do this? Often I hope, but it has to be a daily dying to self. Daily not every once in a while or when i want to type, but everyday.

Matthew 16:24

  1. Hi! I am a FMF neighbor. Fall is my favorite time of year! This is another take on fall and it’s wonderful.

You are right that it is a process and an amazing one at that! Patti
